The situation
Therapy is a high-trust, high-hesitation decision.
Arielle trained at the California Institute of Integral Studies with an emphasis in expressive arts therapy — a genuine differentiator in a field where most practice sites read the same. Starting a private practice meant being findable and credible before anyone would reach out, and doing it in a way that felt warm rather than clinical. The first step had to feel small.
What we did
Design the trust, then design the first step.
Positioning & content
Built the site around expressive arts therapy as the differentiator — movement, metaphor, story, sound — written in her own voice rather than clinical boilerplate.
Design & build
Warm, calm, and fast on a phone, with accessibility designed in from the first sketch rather than retrofitted.
One conversion path
A free review as the single next step on every page, framed as a low-commitment way to find out whether it's a match.
Measurement with consent
Analytics behind a consent banner, so the practice can see what's working without compromising visitor privacy — which matters more here than almost anywhere.
Where it landed
Findable, understandable, bookable.
The practice now has a home base that explains an unfamiliar modality in plain language, states who it's for — teens, students, young adults, parents, and professionals — and routes every visitor to the same low-stakes first step. The site is content-managed, so Arielle can keep it current herself.
